Description

A robust multifunction colour inkjet printer offering printing, scanning, copying, and faxing with mobile and cloud support. It delivers fast monochrome printing at 24 ipm and integrates easily into networks. Designed for small offices, it provides high-quality mono and colour prints using durable DRHD Pigment inks. The MB5140 prints A4 pages at 24 ipm mono and 15.5 ipm colour, with a first page out time of 6 seconds, and features single-pass duplex scanning. Energy-efficient with low power consumption (0.2 kWh TEC), it uses individually replaceable cartridges yielding 2,500 pages for black and 1,500 pages for colour. An optional 4-colour multipack offers additional cost savings. The printer includes an 8.8 cm colour touchscreen, a 250-sheet feeder, and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder. It supports duplex printing and various media types, including labels, envelopes, photo paper and two-sided ID card copying. It supports Apple AirPrint, Mopria and the Canon Print app for mobile printing and scanning, plus cloud services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, OneNote, OneDrive and Concur. Access Point mode allows connection without Wi-Fi. Security features include IP address filtering and SMTP email support for secure scan-to-email. Administrators can configure settings and restrict functions such as scan-to-USB. SNMP compatibility facilitates network integration and maintenance monitoring, including ink levels, error status and page count.
